It somehow felt like it took forever for summer to arrive here in the Okanagan..and now that it’s here it feels like it is going way too fast! Anyone else with me? We’ve been enjoying beautiful hot Okanagan days, filled with company, work, evening swims down at the beach, and weekends soaking in the pool! It’s been amazing so far!
We have this spot down at the beach that is so special to us. It has this crazy shaped log and it’s just our little place that we love to go and enjoy the evening. You’ll find us down there with a picnic, swimming in the summer, and in the fall/winter bringing a warm drink to sit by the lake and enjoy! So last night it was only fitting to wear my new Cupshe suit in celebration that the beach is no longer under water (due to spring flooding)!
You guys..the water was AMAZING! The perfect temperature after a day where the heat sat in the high 30’s (celsius), and the setting last night was perfect as we cooled off in the setting sun! I feel so lucky to call this place ‘home’! Anyways..I’m sure you are wondering how this swimsuit was a gamble..well, let me tell you the details!
I don’t know about you, but my IG feed is filled with all these cute Cupshe swimsuits on adorable models and somehow I got sucked into the vortex and scrolled for who knows how long, contemplating which suit I should buy! I mean lets think about this.. are the days of going into the mall, trying on an endless amount of swimsuits with unflattering mirrors and lighting a thing of the past? They really could be, because I totally gambled with Cupshe and took a HUGE chance on two..I repeat..two suits and it was a success!
For me I figured for the price ($40 USD) total, that it was a solid 50/50 chance that I’d either love or hate them! So I didn’t really have a ton to lose. I also specifically picked pieces that I knew would have a somewhat solid chance of fitting my body. I have a healthy caboose and teeny tiny bust..so you can just imagine the challenge that brings for me! I’m never the same size on the bottom as the top, and with Cupshe there isn’t any options in selecting different sizes for certain body parts. It’s either S, M, or L..so you see where the gamble comes into play!
When my package arrived in the mail (quickly I might add..being that I am in Canada), I was pleasantly surprised! I selected a bathing suit that had WHITE bottoms (another huge gamble)..which I would never ever do..but this bottom was so dang cute I couldn’t resist! I honestly popped it on..went into the shower immediately and soaked it through to see if it went see-through and it passed the test! However the top did NOT fit in anyway! I ended up taking it to my seamstress to have it adjusted to fit my small bust..and it fit’s way better..but still not perfect! My second suit is more simple and it fit me perfectly!
All in all I would say taking a chance on Cupshe was worth it! I would order again for sure! The price is perfect, the quality is great, and avoiding those awful change rooms is a huge bonus! So if you have Cupshe adds popping up on your feed and you are contemplating whether or not you want to take the leap.. I say go for it! It definitely adds a little flare into your summer fun! Also, if you’ve been reading this post and have had experience with Cupshe, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
